:) I have an old PC in the basement that runs as a file server; instead of buying a wireless card, I picked up this cable and ran it from my router up into the rafters and down into the front half of the basement - with cable to spare. It does just what it claims to do - gives you 50 feet of CAT 5e cabling glory.
This cable is a great, inexpensive solution for getting your device connected. No loss of speed that I can tell.Seriously, if you need a cable like this, DO NOT HESITATE. Well, this cable is exactly what the description says it is.50 feet of RJ45 cat 5e cable. The computer we needed this cable for is just as fast as the other one thats directly connected to the internet. The price blows anything you'll pay at a regular store right out of the water.Excellent product and does exactly what its supposed to do. Item arrived very quickly and well packaged. I do recommend that if you live somewhere cold that you let the cable warm up before attempting to unravel it, but thats just common sense.
But then I remembered Amazon, and looked up 50 foot ethernet cables here, and found some great prices. I plugged it into my router and 360, and now I have Xbox Live.
I absolutely love it. It's that simple.
I got this product because I didn't have a router close enough to my Xbox (the ethernet cables I had weren't long enough). I immediately took it out of the box, and there it was, completely new in a plastic package.
I recommend this product to anybody who is in the same situation I was, and doesn't want to spend a hundred bucks on a Wireless Adaptor. I couldn't find anything longer in stores, so I was about to give up and buy that $100 Wireless Adapter from Microsoft.
I ordered one for $12 (including shipping and handling), and it came in a little over a week.
Fortunately the seller shipped this with a signature required card and for some reason the post office will look up my name with priority services, had this been a lower grade of mail service my post office would have returned the package to sender.Again, this problem is strictly with the Amazon and Paypal system. The shipping address will not be accepted with any reference to a PO Box.So it ends out the item was shipped via USPS and my local postal office will not deliver to my street address. The seller did a great job and I am thankful they used a priority mail service. The product was as described and shipped in a timely manner.The only issue I have is with Amazon and Paypal. The automated system forces me to use a street address, I can not even enter a PO Box as a second line or in brackets.
Included a huge catalog of greataudio equipment. This 50' cable came in good condition,and arrived quickly. Very pleased with the entire shopping experience.
